Greenhouse Seminar #1 – Pollinator Gardening

Description:

Presented by members of The Garden Club of Johnstown on Saturday, March 17th.  Classes take place inside a working greenhouse located at Sandyvale Memorial Gardens and Conservancy, located at 80 Hickory Street Johnstown, PA 15902 across from the Auto Zone.

This session will be held by The Garden Club of Johnstown and will cover the importance of pollinator gardens, what native plants to include and how to care for them.  Hands-on workshop will be provided on seed planting methods for successful gardening and free take-home peat pots with seeds and growing instructions will be provided.

The cost per seminar is $15/per person, each class is two hours – 10:00AM to 12:00 PM.  Hands-on-learning opportunities will be offered and refreshments will be served at each session.

Bring a cap and sunglasses on sunny days and a folding chair if you wish, wooden benches are available.
